Our committees are made up of horticultural and other agricultural industries - except broadacre cropping and grazing.
Horticultural industries can include; wine, fruit, vegetables, juices, nuts, turf, flowers and wine.
Examples of other agriculture commodities that are covered by the APC Act are; pork, poultry and the bee keeping industries.

The APC Avocado Producers’ Committee was established in 1995. The Committee covers all Western Australian avocado producers, except avocado producers in the Carnarvon irrigation area.
The APC Carnarvon Banana Producers’ Committee was established in 1999, after a successful poll of producers voted to administer the voluntary insurance scheme that compensates producers for cyclone and storm damage.
In 2007 the APC Carrot Producers' Committee elected to merge with the APC Vegetable Producers' Committee in order to provide a more efficient service to Western Australian vegetable growers.
To protect the horticultural industry the APC Kununurra Crop Pest Control Committee in 1997 was established to control fruit fly infestations within the Kununurra Town site.
The APC Egg Producers’ Committee was established in 2002 after egg producers voted to replace the levy collected under the Poultry Industry (Trust Fund) Act with the Fee for Service under the Agricultural Produce Commission Act.
The Mediterranean fruit fly is a major pest for Western Australian commercial and non-commercial fruit producers.
The Fruit West Committee was established in 1994 to provide funding to the Western Australian fruit industry through Fee for Service on fruit sales.

The APC Pork Producers’ Committee was established to provide Fee for Service funding for the WA pork industry after a successful poll which was held on 12 December 2001. The Committee covers all Western Australian pork producers.

The APC Potato Producers’ Committee was established in 2001, after producers voted to adopt the Fee for Service under the APC Act to replace the former levy collected under the Potato Growing Industry Compensation Trust Fund Act, which was repealed.
In 1995 the Strawberry Growers Association requested that the APC conduct a poll amongst Western Australian strawberry growers to gauge their interest in establishing a producers committee for the Western Australian strawberry growing industry. The Commission conducted a successful poll of producers and subsequently established the APC Strawberry Producers’ Committee.
The APC Voluntary Turf Producers’ Committee ceased operation in 2009 when a Federal Turf Levy was introduced.

The Agricultural Produce Commission, on 18 March 2005, established the APC Vegetable Producers Committee.
